Gospel, Faith, & Future

In 1981, church leaders predicted the growth of the community along the Highway 378 corridor. That growth continues today as neighborhoods, stores, shopping centers, and restaurants are built within the 5–10 mile radius around our church. We now find ourselves at a threshold with an opportunity to maximize our seating capacity so that every life can be transformed by the power and hope of the Gospel.

Forward Together Guidebook

Check out all the details of Forward Together in the Guidebook. In this book you will find the vision for Forward Together, the need for our Worship Center renovation, the design of construction, and the financial need for the initiative. The Guidebook also includes a Prayer Guide as we seek God’s wisdom, strength, and guidance during this process.

How to Give

The Forward Together initiative is not primarily about a physical building or the money it will take to complete it. This initiative is about building on the Gospel faithfulness of previous generations and reaching more people with the power and hope of the Gospel! Nevertheless, the project can only happen if we see the need and financially support the vision above and beyond our normal giving. Everyone is being asked to pray and sacrificially give to support this work.

There are many ways to give to Forward Together:

  • Cash –"Forward Together” envelopes will be available in the lobby of everybuilding on campus.
  • Checks –Checks can be placed in Forward Together envelopes every Sunday or can bemailed to LMBC; please designate on your check “Forward Together”.
  • Credit Cards– QR codes are on the church website and weekly bulletins, which will take youto a specific “Forward Together” website to give.
  • Appreciated non-cashfinancial assets –Your investments in stocks and mutual fundscan be transferred directly to LMBC, which provides tax efficiency.
  • Donor advised funds– Your broker or investment advisor may have the capacity for you to set upyour own donor advised fund; LMBC is an approved 501(c)(3) and can receivegifts from your donor advised and charitable funds.
  • Individual RetirementAccounts (IRAs) –If you have a traditional IRA and you are atleast 70 ½ years old, you may use the Qualified Charitable Distribution featureto transfer retirement funds directly to LMBC.
  • Planned gifts– You can help with Forward Together and the future of LMBC for years to comeby including LMBC in your will, trusts and estate plans. You can also name thechurch as a beneficiary for your retirement account and life insurance policy.
  • Matching gifts– Many employers match employee gifts to charity.
